The Unitarian Society of Northampton and Florence is an inclusive and welcoming intergenerational congregation in the Unitarian Universalist tradition.  We have been part of the Northampton and Florence communities for many, many years.  Our mission is to build a caring community where children and adults can safely learn and grow - where we are supported and challenged on life's journeys, called to service and to our higher selves, and inspired to better our world.

We are a member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association.

Our Congregation

We are a congregation of approximately 300 members and growing.  We also welcome many non-member friends each Sunday who are an integral part of our community.  We are an intergenerational community with a thriving religious education program for children and youth.

We hold Sunday morning worship services throughout the year.  From September to June we hold our Sunday morning service at 10:00 am, with one intergenerational service at 10:00 am each month.  Summer lay-led services take place on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am.

Like other Unitarian Universalist congregations, the Unitarian Society of Northampton and Florence is self-governed, exercising the right of congregational polity.  Read more…
