Rise Up For Irida: A Musical Revue

Rise Up Productions, the Unitarian Society of Northampton and Florence and the Pioneer Valley Workers Center are pleased to present "Rise Up For Irida: A Musical Revue," Saturday, Dec. 8, at 7:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Society of Northampton and Florence, 220 Main St., Northampton, MA.The evening will include music from the hit Broadway shows "Hamilton," "Dear Evan Hansen," "Rent" and more.

Proceeds will support Irida Kakhtiranova, an immigrant to the U.S., who is the wife of a U.S. citizen and the mother of three children, ages 4 to 10, who were born in this country. Irida has been in sanctuary at the Society for more than seven months as she fights deportation and family separation. Rise Up Productions is the artist collective that presented last year's local, sold-out "Hamilton" sing-alongs. This benefit's performers include Kyle Boatwright, Mikel Garcia, Michael King, Myka Plunkett, Nichole Wadleigh, David Webber, and Kara Rose Wolf, with Josh Sitron on piano and Jimmy Robitaille on percussion.
