The Web Committee is a small team responsible for creating and maintaining the Unitarian Society of Northampton and Florence's website. Our aim is to offer visitors a website that is accurate, engaging, easy to navigate, and accessible.
To that end, the committee makes regular updates, manages user access to a restricted (members-only) section of the site, supports staff members who are responsible for specific areas of the website, recommends and oversees domain registration and website hosting, makes decisions about design and functionality of the site, keeps an eye on website traffic and other analytics, and works with external professionals who assist with tasks that are beyond the scope or time resources of our volunteer team.
How We Can Help
- We can make corrections to existing content.
- We can post content for committees and groups.
- We can help committees, groups, and individuals to think through where new information can/should go and how to make it accessible.
- We can help members to access the members-only section of the website.
- We can provide training to USNF members and friends who would like to know how to use the website more effectively.
