A Place to Be Yourself

What's empowering, reflective, playful, and comes with card games and tasty snacks? If you are between 8th-12th grade and you seek a community where games, deep sharing, identity, and personal growth are appreciated, then join us!

Youth Group (YG) meets every other Sunday from 2-4pm. If you're interested, check out our calendar for the 2022-2023 year. We welcome newcomers who are in 8th-12th grade to join. We endeavor to share with one another and build relationships across ages. Youth Group is a combined program of the Unitarian Society of Northampton & Florence and the Unitarian Universalist Society of Amherst. Together, we explore meaningful questions, learning and growing as people and as Unitarian Universalists. We engage in social action on issues that are important to us. We plan and participate in unique and special worship. And we always have fun!

Youth Group is guided by part-time Youth and Young Adult Coordinator, Cauli Williams, and the Youth Adult Committee (YAC), which represents the entire group in decision-making and leads by example. The YAC is open to all members of Youth Group, along with adult advisors and the Youth Coordinator. Three dedicated volunteer advisors, adult members of our congregations, support YG through their presence at meetings and events.

If Youth Group sounds like your cup of tea and tasty snack, or if you are interested in other activities, please contact our Youth Director, Cauli Williams, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
