December 3, 2023, 9 a.m. Join our team or come out to cheer us on!
The 20th annual Hot Chocolate Run will take place the morning of Sunday, December 3. This event takes place in downtown Northampton, on the first Sunday of December, each year, and raises funds for Safe Passage, a local organization that serves survivors of domestic violence.
This festive event includes a 5k road race, 5k fun run, and a 3k walk. No matter which you participate in, you can join the team by selecting "Unitarian Society of Northampton and Florence (USNF)" when you register (or afterwards). To register, go to: https://p2p.onecause.com/hcr2023.
Being part of the team doesn't mean you have to run or walk with a group, but we often have stickers to wear that show we are part of the team.
Not interested in running or walking the route? You can also support our team by cheering us on from the sidelines or by making a donation.
Donations to individual participants “count” for their team (it isn’t necessary to make separate donations to the team). Individuals set their own donation goals and can win individual prizes like hats and shirts if they reach certain levels set by the Hot Chocolate Run. (Those donations still count toward the team, even though there’s an individual reward!)
